A daily exercise in noticing details
Before technique, there is the eye.
Before equipment, there is observation.
Photography taught me how to notice details that were always there,
waiting quietly.
Crooked shadows at the end of the day.
Distorted reflections on old glass.
Gestures paused mid-movement.
All of it holds poetry.
Observation is a silent act.
And often, photography should be too.
When I observe carefully, I realize I don’t need to interfere so much.
The scene is already complete.
My role is simply to recognize it.
